Leicestershire Lifeguards was established in 1988 to meet the need for qualified lifeguard cover for open water lifesaving exams.

The unit is a member of  Lifesavers Uk and one of only 100 units registered within the National Lifeguard Training Programme.

In addition to patrol duties and  training for the National Beach Lifeguard Qualification and open water lifesaving awards, we also run other courses including:

· National Pool Lifeguard Qualification

· Life support awards

· RYA Power boat and safety boat handling

· HSE First Aid at work

We depend on subscriptions, donations and sponsorship to provide a valuable and respected service to the community.
